WXStar - Avionics Interconnect
WXStar provides three parallel output paths. All three work simultaneously, so you can use any combination that fits your cockpit setup.
The primary interface for panel-mounted avionics. WXStar broadcasts weather data using the standard FIS-B protocol that avionics expect from US ground stations.
This requires a FIS-B capable receiver in your aircraft:

In parallel to the wireless FIS-B interface, WXStar broadcasts all weather data in GDL90 format on the Starlink Mini WiFi network.
Compatible apps and devices:
The WXStar 4-pin connector provides an RS232 serial output for wired connections. This works completely in parallel with the FIS-B and WiFi interfaces.
