In Flight Weather Solutions
Our mission is to provide worldwide in-flight weather information. To achieve this, we offer a range of software and hardware solutions:
With our ADL series devices, we offer both portable and installed solutions that allow you to download worldwide in-flight weather data. This information is displayed on your mobile devices and can be forwarded to many installed avionics systems.
What you need: An ADL150B, ADL190, or ADL180B device plus one of our Iridium satellite service plans. Control is managed via our ADLConnect app.
Our ADL series devices can forward weather data to most installed avionics from all major brands, provided the installation is FIS-B capable. For compatibility details, please see the *Interconnect Options* menu on the left. Weather information can be received through the built-in Iridium receiver of the ADL device, or via onboard Wi-Fi such as Starlink or Inmarsat.
What you need: An ADL150B, ADL190, or ADL180B device, along with either one of our Iridium service plans or our lower-cost Wi-Fi-only plan. The weather data is displayed on your avionics, while control and configuration are handled with our ADLConnect app.
For some applications, the Iridium Go or the larger Iridium Go Exec can be an excellent choice. The advantages include:
Off-the-shelf Iridium hardware available worldwide with local certifications Smaller antenna requirements compared to Starlink Fully battery-powered operation for emergencies No geographic or groundspeed limitations The main drawback is the relatively high cost. As such, this solution is often used for jets, ocean crossings, and aircraft with existing Iridium external antennas (e.g., the PC-12).What you need: The Iridium Go or Go Exec hardware (purchased directly from Iridium), along with airtime and a SIM card from Iridium. We provide a software license that enables the special Go/Go Exec features in our ADLConnect app, which manages all dialing and uses advanced data compression to conserve airtime.
Beyond controlling our hardware and satellite-based solutions, the ADLConnect app can also be used as a standalone moving map weather application. Basic functionality is free of charge; registration is required. Some advanced features may require a paid subscription.

All of our solutions include the ability to forward weather data to other compatible apps such as ForeFlight, Garmin Pilot, SkyDemon, and any app supporting the GDL90 data format.

ADS-B traffic reception and forwarding Flarm device interconnect, allowing Flarm traffic to be forwarded to installed avionics along with weather data SMS service (for ADL series devices) Integrated AHRS (for certain ADL models)In addition to our standard in-flight weather products, we offer customized solutions such as weather data encoding software for UAT base stations and special software for hail prevention.
