GDL90 Compatible Apps
All ADL140 and later can send GDL90 formated weather and traffic data
over WiFi. So all apps compatible with the GDL90 protocol should be able
to receive and display this weather and traffic information. The most common
apps ForeFlight and SkyDemon are described on separate pages but there are
many more compatible apps out there.
GDL90 over RS232
All ADL150(B)/190/200 can output the weather and traffic data over the
RS232 wire connection. So all avionics devices able to receive such data
should be able to display it. The Avidyne devices are described on a
separate page but there exist more such devices like very early
G1000 and GMX200 displays. Please note some require RS422 input instead
of RS232 but that can easily be adapted with the right wiring.
ADSB FIS-B
All avionics system which can receive ADSB FIS-B weather should be compatible
with an ADL140/150(B)/190/200 combined with the ADLS1G xxtension box. The most
common ones are listed on a separate page but there are many more out there
